We finally managed to get out of the office around 2am on Friday, or Saturday to be more correct, which was a blessing. Took me ages to fall asleep though and then I woke up early and couldn’t get back to sleep again which was pretty annoying. My plans of lying by the pool was spoilt as well as the weather decided to continue being in a bad mood, which resulted in one of the worst thunderstorms I’ve experienced here in Singapore on Saturday. Was kind of cozy though snuggling up in the sofa watching movies. Spent the entire weekend with mum, decided I totally needed to shut off from everything so didn’t even answer my phone or anything which was just sooo nice.
With the weather being as it was we ended up doing a bit of shopping as well, I had to see if I could find a dress for a wedding at the end of the month and to my big surprise I found the perfect one. Not easy trying to find something summery in October, not even in a country like Singapore. Happy, happy.
Apart from that, it was one of the most relaxed weekends I’ve had in a really long time so feel rather re-charged and ready to tackle this week. So far it has started pretty good, there are a few changes that needs to be done to the things we did on Friday but as we have the base in place it’s just a bit of tweaking and re-phrasing of stuff so the pace is less hectic. Fingers crossed I might add. Better safe than sorry you know.
Oh, yesterday was also an anniversary for me. It’s been three years since I moved to Singapore. Can’t believe it’s been that long. Time really do fly when you are having fun….
